The cake that started all of this. A full-size vanilla pound cake, baked low and slow so the crumb stays tight and tender, then glazed while it is still warm enough to drink it in.

It comes wrapped in parchment, tied with ribbon, with a handwritten note tucked under the string — the way I would hand it to you at the door.

What you get

One cake, about eight generous slices. It keeps beautifully for three days in the box, and honestly it is better on day two. Ask and I will send a little jar of the same glaze along for warming it up.
